Monday, back to work, and another busy week ahead. I spoke to Dr Lindberg at lunch today, Dr Myhre is off today, for what Im sure is a well deserved day off. I dont imagine a veterinarian has many days off! Dr Lindberg thought Scribbles looked better than she did Friday, good news. But I didnt get to talk to the surgeon, Dr Myhre about when we could go ahead with surgery to lift the bone that's concave, or pushed in on the right side of her face. We talked about our options, that we could leave it, on Friday. We've come this far with her, and we'de like to save that eye if we can and let her breathe through her right nostril normally. So that was our "no news". Tomorrow I'll talk to Dr Myhre about when we can have him do the surgery and then bring her home to finish her long recovery. We're getting organized for our tack sale on the 23rd- hoping for good weather, but we'll have everything set up in the barn that day, so that it wont get wet. Our daughter Amy is coming home from college in central New York to help get things organized. She's an awesome organizer- typical oldest child!
Tomorrow we'll know more- I cant wait to hear from the Dr. I would have never imagined this outcome, it's so amazing to me.
